June 1, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia is going to work to establish relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan in order to achieve policy of balancing, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan.

During a live broadcast on his social networks, the PM spoke on the topic of foreign policy. There were scales with six bowls on the table in front of the Armenian PM.

"Today we are seriously working to establish relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan. I am confident that we will achieve this goal. This means that balanced foreign policy will achieve the goal that creating new opportunities for Armenia will mean creating a state on a different level," Pashinyan said.

Despite sharing a common border, Armenia and Turkey do not have diplomatic relations, and the border has been closed since 1993. The parties are currently engaged in the normalization process and have agreed to open the border to third-country nationals with diplomatic passports. On May 4, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz visited Yerevan, where he discussed prospects for bilateral relations with Pashinyan on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit.
