February 19, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, Azerbaijan imported 20,130.4 tons of butter for $145.314 million from foreign countries.

The average customs value of 1 kg of imported butter was $7.2 (12.3 manats), ABC.AZ reports with reference to official data.

For reference, the largest amount of butter was imported from Iran (8,616 tons) and New Zealand (4,269.6 tons) and the smallest from Luxembourg (10 kg) and Spain (10 kg).

Last year, the cheapest butter was imported from India (9.8 manats) and the most expensive butter from Luxembourg (233 manats).
