August 25, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of trade between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in January–July this year amounted to $282.5 million. According to ABC.AZ, this was reported by the State Customs Committee. The figure is $1.7 million, or 0.6%, higher than in the same period of 2024.
Exports from Azerbaijan to Ukraine totaled $119.7 million, an increase of $2.9 million, or 2.5%, compared to the same period of 2024. Imports from Ukraine to Azerbaijan amounted to $82.6 million, down by $1.2 million, or 0.7%, compared to a year earlier.
Additionally, non-oil exports from Azerbaijan to Ukraine in January–July 2025 reached $109.9 million, up by $48.6 million, or 1.8 times, compared to the first seven months of 2024. Non-oil exports to Ukraine accounted for 5.26% of Azerbaijan’s total exports, making Ukraine the 5th largest buyer of Azerbaijani non-oil products. Overall, in January–July 2025, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $28.8 billion, which is 7.25% more than in the same period last year. Exports accounted for $15.2 billion, while imports stood at $13.6 billion. Year-on-year, exports fell by 5.4%, while imports rose by 26.1%. As a result, the trade surplus amounted to $1.6 billion, down 3.3 times compared to the same period last year.
