August 26, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Statistical Bulletin (07/2026) of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), as of August 1, 2026, the distribution of loan investments across the country's economic regions (excluding Baku) has been revealed.

The Absheron-Khizi economic region accounted for the largest share among regions at 16%. It was followed by the Ganja-Dashkasan (13%) and Central Aran (10%) economic regions.

The full breakdown by economic regions is as follows:

• Absheron-Khizi economic region: 16%

• Ganja-Dashkasan economic region: 13%

• Central Aran economic region: 10%

• Karabakh economic region: 8%

• Gazakh-Tovuz economic region: 8%

• Lankaran-Astara economic region: 8%

• Shaki-Zaqatala economic region: 8%

• Nakhchivan economic region: 7%

• Guba-Khachmaz economic region: 7%

• Shirvan-Salyan economic region: 7%

• Mil-Mughan economic region: 5%

• Mountainous Shirvan economic region: 3%

• Eastern Zangezur economic region: 0%
