June 30, Fineko/abc.az. "Russia is determined to develop good relations with Azerbaijan," ABC.AZ reports, quoting Kremlin's official spokesman Dmitry Peskov. 

Peskov also noted that a conversation between the leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, is not planned in the near future, but may take place if necessary. 

On June 27, Russian security forces conducted an operation in Yekaterinburg as part of an investigation into a criminal case of a murder committed in 2001. Two people died. 
The incident provoked a harsh reaction from Baku, and the country's Foreign Ministry demanded that the Russian authorities conduct thorough investigation.
