November 20, Fineko/abc.az. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced at a government meeting the beginning of development of a plan to move the capital of the Islamic republic, ABC.AZ reports, referring to news agency ISNA.
The president appointed his first deputy, Mohammad Reza Aref, to be responsible for preparing the plan.

On September 7, the Iranian president announced the need to move the capital from Tehran to the Persian Gulf coast. According to Pezeshkian, Tehran is currently facing problems that cannot be solved in any other way.
