Uniper Agrees on 2.9 Billion Cubic Meters of Norwegian Gas Supplies Over 15 Years

August 28, Fineko/abc.az. German energy concern Uniper has concluded a long-term 15-year agreement with Norway's state company Equinor for natural gas imports. The contract will run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2041.

Total deliveries under the deal will exceed 30 TWh (approximately 2.9 billion cubic meters), which corresponds to roughly 3.5% of Germany's total annual gas demand.

Currently, Norway is Germany's primary supplier of natural gas, accounting for around 44% of its total imports.
