July 16, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for tomatoes and cucumbers have increased in the capital's markets.

ABC.AZ reports that in particular, cucumbers, which a few days ago cost 70 gapiks per kg, are now offered for 1 manat 50 gapiks, and tomatoes, previously sold for 1 manat, are now traded for 2-3 manats.

The buyers themselves also note the rise in price of these vegetables.

Sellers also confirm that the prices of tomatoes and cucumbers more than doubled.

They attribute the rise in prices for seasonal vegetables to frequent weather changes.

Sellers say prices for these vegetables are expected to fall in the coming days.
