January 7, Fineko/abc.az. There have been riots in Kazakhstan for several days.

ABC.AZ reports that damage from the riots in Kazakhstan is preliminarily estimated at 44 billion tenge (about $100 million).

Most of the damage – 43.5 billion tenge – accounts for the city of Almaty.

Facilities of trade, catering, transport, as well as the service sector and the financial sector were mainly affected in the city.
