September 11, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has published the data on goods sold for Jan-Aug 2020 to consumers in the retail trade chain.

ABC.AZ informs that goods for AZN 24.6 bn were sold for the reported term.

Thus, for the first 8 months of 2020 the sale of foods, beverages and tobacco was carried for AZN 13.3 bn, and nonfoods for AZN 11.3 bn. Compared with the relevant period of 2019 the retail trade in real terms decreased by 1.8 percent, including nonfoods by 6.9 percent, and foods, beverages and tobacco increased by 3.3 percent. E-Commerce turnover increased 2.2 times against Jan-Aug 2019.
