February 4, Fineko/abc.az. In 2020 and in the following years, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and other relevant governmental agencies, we have defined as the main goal the rapid development of the processing industry, which forms high added value.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov.

He noted that taking into account the specifics of the regions, it is planned to deepen specialization in production and processing of products: "It is planned to reconstruct, improve and accelerate the privatization of production enterprises that do not work in the regions or work with losses. In general, investment promotion mechanisms will be widely used for the development of production and services that form high added value."
