ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Central Bank’s chairman Elman Rustamov at a meeting with entrepreneurs and bank managers.

According to the CBA’s chair, maintaining macroeconomic stability is one of the main tasks of the Central Bank. Low inflation, the government's inflation forecast, and the Central Bank's inflation targets remained unchanged at 4±2 percent.

"This will allow increasing real income. The level of inflation is very important for the economic dynamics, business, and investment environment," Rustamov said.
