August 1, Fineko/abc.az. The share of nonoil sector in tax revenues reached 70.1% in 2019 and this is a significant increase versus 65.8% in 2018.
As a whole, growth rate of revenues in the nonoil sector made up 14.3% that exceeds the growth rate of the relevant sector of the economy. As a result the annual forecast was exceeded by 51.1%.
The statement was made by Tax Minister Mikayil Jabbarov at yesterday’s president-chaired Cabinet meeting on the socio-economic questions.
"The share of the private sector in the nonoil sector is very high – 77% is provided due to the private sector. For the first 6 months of the year 101,000 new employment contracts were registered. Out of this figure, 77,000 contracts were registered in the private nonoil sector," the minister emphasized.
