May 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and the U.S. discussed today the prospects of economic cooperation.

During the 4th meeting of the Azerbaijan-U.S. Economic Cooperation Commission U.S. First Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Economy & Business Peter Haas stated that Azerbaijan and the U.S. have formed strong cooperation in the energy sector.

"There are opportunities for development of non-oil cooperation that will further strengthen ties between Azerbaijan and the U.S.," Mr. Haas emphasized.
