September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2026, production of copper concentrate in Azerbaijan grew 5.5-fold against up to 12,500 tons.

According to the State Customs Committee, for Jan-Jul 2026, the country exported 69,100 tons of copper ore and concentrate for $152 million. The indicator is 6.9-fold more in physical volume and 9.5-fold more in revenue against Jan-Jul 2025.

The production figures of the Demirli ore processing complex in Ahgdere district and the Anglo Asian Mining company operating in Gedabek play an important role in the sharp increase in production and exports.
