September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Following the debut of its flagship GPT-6 Astra model earlier this month, OpenAI has expanded the GPT-6 family by releasing the updated GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna models.

According to OpenAI, GPT-6 Sol is tailored for complex coding and development tasks, while GPT-6 Luna is optimized for high-volume administrative tasks such as document summarization, data extraction, and quick query responses.

The new GPT-6 models are offered at half the API price compared to the previous 5.6 generation, made possible through major improvements in prompt caching and inference efficiency. OpenAI also highlighted that the updated models demonstrate significantly lower error rates in code generation and higher factual accuracy in text outputs.
