September 17, Fineko/abc.az. As part of the control measures, the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan has selected samples of vegetable spread imported by Vita Milk LLC for laboratory tests.

According to the Agency, a batch of vegetable spread of the ‘Peasant Miracle’ trademark revealed non-compliance with the established requirements for 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol (3-MCPD). In this regard, the measures provided for by the legislation were taken.

Based on the decision, 20 tons of products were returned to the producing country.
