September 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan have signed an Agreement establishing the Union of Accounting and Audit Professional Regulatory Bodies of Turkic States.

 The document was signed by Vahid Novruzov, Chairman of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan; Hayrettin Kurt, Vice President of the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority of Turkiye (KGK); Sapar Koshkimbayev, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Auditors of Kazakhstan; and Nematulla Karimov, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Auditors of Uzbekistan.

The signing ceremony took place on September 16 within the framework of an international scientific-practical conference titled "Stages of Audit Development: From Compliance to Strategic Partnership and Trust," dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan.
