September 16, Fineko/abc.az. Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Auditors of Uzbekistan Nematulla Kerimov announced at an international conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors a number of proposals for the first year of the Union of Professional Accounting and Auditing Authorities of the Turkic States.

These include development of a roadmap for mutual recognition of qualifications, creation of a unified dictionary of international standards, exchange of digital tools and experience, formation of joint educational and certification programs, as well as demonstration of a common position within IFAC in development of international standards.

Kerimov stressed that cooperation in the field of accounting and auditing is important for strengthening economic integration and investor confidence. Stating that Uzbekistan is assuming long-term strategic obligations within the union, the chairman of the Chamber drew attention to the readiness to hold one of the next events of the association in Tashkent.
