August 13, Fineko/abc.az. In January–July 2026, the foreign trade turnover of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic expanded by 31.1% year-on-year to reach $90.4 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Nakhchivan AR, the breakdown of foreign trade was as follows:

• Exports: $7.5 million (+0.1%)

• Imports: $82.9 million (+34.9%)

• Trade deficit: $75.4 million (up ~40% year-on-year)

Additionally, retail trade turnover in the autonomous republic increased by 1.2% over the 7-month period to 869.6 million manats. Sales of food products, beverages, and tobacco reached 447.8 million manats, while non-food products accounted for 421.8 million manats.
