August 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the 2025 state budget, 402.9 million AZN was projected for the environmental protection sector to implement 26 measures across 5 programs by 10 executing agencies—an increase of 26 million AZN (6.9%) compared to the previous year.

According to the Ministry of Finance, 374.1 million AZN (92.9% of the projection) was disbursed based on agency requests and fully utilized.

Local executive authorities accounted for the largest share of expenditures at 67.7%, while 21.6% went to other participating organizations, and 10.7% was executed by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and its agencies (Forestry Development Service, National Hydrometeorological Service, and Biodiversity Protection Service).
