August 14, Fineko/abc.az. Tesla is preparing to reveal a redesigned version of its Roadster sports car as early as this month. The project, initially unveiled in 2017 and subject to repeated delivery delays, has evolved from a standard high-performance EV into an all-new carbon-fiber hypercar.

The unveiling event is expected to feature a demonstration of a limited-edition model equipped with cold-gas thrusters developed in collaboration with SpaceX. Due to the extreme noise and force generated by the thrusters, the vehicle may be operated remotely during the showcase.

This thruster-equipped variant is not expected to be street-legal, with potential pricing ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. Tesla initially accepted deposits of $50,000 for the base version and $250,000 for the Founder's Series edition.
