August 10, Fineko/abc.az. In the first seven months of this year, 122.083 million AZN in VAT was refunded from the state budget to individual consumers in Azerbaijan.

According to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, the VAT refunds cover transactions in retail, catering, cultural and medical services, as well as accommodation at hotels located in the liberated territories.

Additionally, during the same period, foreign citizens received 5.248 million AZN in VAT refunds under the "tax free" system for goods purchased for personal consumption.
