August 10, Fineko/abc.az. Elon Musk's SpaceX and Tesla are planning to build "Terafab", set to become the world's largest semiconductor manufacturing complex.
Initial investments in the project are estimated at $16.8 billion. The facility will cover an area of approximately 9.3 million square meters—roughly equivalent to 1,300 football fields and dozens of times larger than the Pentagon.
The primary objective of the project is to manufacture computing systems with a total annual capacity exceeding 1 terawatt to power Optimus humanoid robots, Cybercab autonomous taxis, and orbital data centers.
