August 7, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2026, the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan completed control measures in 83 organizations.

According to the Ministry, 51 inspections were carried out on the basis of decisions of law enforcement agencies, and 32 - as part of unscheduled inspections.

As a result of the control measures, 91.6 million manats were restored to the State Budget. In addition, thanks to the mechanisms of preliminary financial control, it was possible to prevent the embezzlement of public funds in the amount of 2.6 million manats.
