August 7, Fineko/abc.az. International rating agency Moody's has affirmed Azerbaijan's credit rating at 'Baa3' with a 'Positive' outlook. The agency's report praised the country's prudential banking policies, regulatory capital requirements, and the alignment of its supervisory framework with international standards.

The report highlighted that enhanced regulatory oversight and capital requirements continue to bolster the resilience and solvency of the banking sector. Moody's also noted the implementation of new capital buffers under the Basel III framework, expecting full compliance with Basel III standards by 2027.
