August 3, Fineko/abc.az. Shell (UK) has signed a sale & purchase agreement with TotalEnergies (France) for the sale of its European onshore renewables portfolio.

As part of the deal, TotalEnergies is acquiring Shell’s specified 500 MW of operational and in-construction solar and wind assets, located primarily in Italy and the Netherlands. The agreement also includes under-development projects for solar, wind and energy storage systems with total capacity of 3.5 GW in Italy, the UK and Spain.

The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is to be completed by the end of this year.
