July 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan and Visa discussed the optimization of costs associated with payment acceptance.

The CBA informs that CBA deputy governor Vusal Khalilov met with Sergey Martynchuk, Visa’s newly-appointed senior vice president for CIS and Southeast Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus and country manager.

The sides focused on further expanding the digital payment infrastructure in Azerbaijan, optimizing payment acceptance costs, improving fraud prevention and risk management mechanisms, and sharing insights on future initiatives to enhance the security and efficiency of digital payments.
