July 23, Fineko/abc.az. The value of the investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) as of July 1, 2026, is estimated at $72.595 bn ($6.079 bn, or 9.1%, more than on July 1, 2025), SOFAZ informs.

Currently 69.7% ($50.57 bn) of SOFAZ’s investments are denominated in US dollars (3.2 p.p. more than a year ago).

The share of the euro in the investment portfolio, in turn, decreased by 3.2 p.p. to 17.7% ($11.279 bn).

The share of the British pound in the investment portfolio fell by 0.2 p.p. and made up 4.9% ($2.69 bn) and the Chinese yuan by 0.1 p.p. to 2.3% ($11.57 bn), wile the Japanese yen grew by 0.1 p.p. up to 1.5% ($174.308 million), and the share of other foreign currencies by 0.2 p.p. up to 3.9% (equivalent to $2.844 bn).
