July 24, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Friday’s trading after a sharp rise in the previous session.
As of 09:35, the price of September’s futures contract for Brent crude oil at the ICE Futures exchange fell by $0.41 (0.41%) to $100.28 per barrel. At the end of trading on July 23, the contract rose in price by $6.62 (7.04%), closing at $100.69 per barrel.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), September’s futures contract for WTI oil decreased by $0.59 (0.64%) to $91.60 per barrel by 09:35. Following the previous trading session, its value grew by $5.36 (6.17%) up to $92.19 per barrel.
The spread between Brent and WTI was $8.68 per barrel as of 09:35.
The price of Azeri Light at the global market increased by $8.54 (8.49%) to $109.10 per barrel during the previous trading session.
