July 24, Fineko/abc.az. As part of the approved 21st package of EU sanctions against Russia, large fintech banks of marketplaces and ecosystems, including Ozon Bank, Yandex Bank, WB Bank (Wildberries) and Post Bank, have been placed under financial restrictions.

In total, the new sanctions list includes 32 Russian credit institutions.

According to experts and Russian media reports, inclusion in the EU blocking lists increases the risk of removing these banks' mobile apps from the App Store and Google Play, as was previously the case with VK services and other sanctioned financial institutions.

The banks have assured that previously downloaded apps will continue to work as usual, and customers will be able to use adapted web versions.
