July 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Petr Cingr, vice chairman of the Board of Directors of Agrofert Group, a leading Czech agro-industrial company.

During the meeting, the sides highlighted the growing business ties between Azerbaijan and Czechia, Azerbaijan's investment potential, and opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between the countries' business communities.

The meeting participants were provided with information about Azerbaijan's favorable business and investment environment, the ongoing reforms aimed at developing the non-oil/gas sector, and government's support mechanisms for entrepreneurship.

The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the agricultural, chemical, and energy sectors, as well as the prospects for joint investment projects.
