June 22, Fineko/abc.az. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced significant progress in negotiations with the United States.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the minister, the parties agreed to ease a number of sanctions, including restrictions on the export of oil and petrochemical products, as well as the operation of Iranian ports.

An agreement was also reached on the partial unblocking of Iran's frozen assets, which can support country's economy after prolonged sanctions pressure. The authorities are simultaneously preparing a rehabilitation and development program, the details of which have not yet been disclosed.

The role of intermediaries - Qatar and Pakistan - was highlighted separately. The next step may be to create a coordination mechanism to consolidate agreements and reduce tension between the parties.
