June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The number of taxpayers and commercial organizations has increased in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Tax Service, as of June 1, 2026, the number of taxpayers registered in the autonomous republic reached 55,678 people (7.2% more against Jan-May 2025).

Growth was 7.4% for individuals and 4.3% for legal entities and other organizations.

At the same time, the number of registered commercial organizations grew by 13.8% year-on-year up to 1,883. In 2026, 85.6% of registered commercial organizations were registered electronically, and 14.4% were registered on paper.

For comparison, as of June 1, 2025, the number of active taxpayers in Nakhchivan was 21,083, 575 active VAT-payers, and 6,060 active business entities. These figures showed an increase of 15.5%, 13.6% and 6.1%, respectively.
