December 24, Fineko/abc.az. Elon Musk's satellite communications and rocket engineering company has attracted 1 million new customers for its Starlink Internet service in less than seven weeks and now operates in 155 markets.
In a similar message dated November 5, SpaceX stated that Starlink is numbering 8 million customers, which means that since that date, the customer base has grown at a rate of more than 20,000 people per day.
SpaceX, which uses a constellation of more than 9,000 low-orbit satellites to provide Starlink Internet access, including to remote areas, is reportedly planning to go public next year with valuation of $1.5 trillion.
Elon Musk said that all Starlink customers are financing future missions to Mars.
