Georgia purchased oil and oil products from Azerbaijan for $65.6 million in 9 months

October 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, Georgia imported 95,210 tons of oil and petroleum oils from Azerbaijan for $65.6 million (13% less versus the 2024 same term in value terms and 0.4% less in quantitative terms), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the National Statistics Service of Georgia.

Thus, Azerbaijan ranked 5th among the countries exporting oil and petroleum oils to Georgia.

In September alone, Georgia bought 22,300 tons of oil and petroleum oils from Azerbaijan for $15.3 million (3.5-fold and 4-fold more, respectively, than a year earlier).

In the first 9 months of this year, Georgia bought 972.24 million tons of oil and petroleum products from foreign countries for $1.29 million (1% less and 10% more than a year earlier, respectively).

Oil and petroleum oils were imported in Georgia: 554,600 tons for $387.54 million from Russia, 242,000 tons for $183 million from Romania, 185,000 tons for $136 million from Bulgaria and 73,900 tons for $67 million from Turkey.
