July 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Friday’s trading.

As of 09:40 on Baku time, the value of the September futures contract for Brent oil on the ICE Futures exchange grew by $0.33 (0.43%) up to $76.63 per barrel. At the end of trading on July 9, the contract fell in price by $1.72 (2.20%) to $76.30 per barrel.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the August WTI oil futures contract rose by $0.28 (0.39%) up to $72.36 per barrel by 09:40. At the end of the previous session, its value decreased by $1.44 (1.96%) to $72.08 per barrel.

The price of Azeri Light on the global market observed decline by $2.98 (3.63%) to $79.09 per barrel.
