July 9, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades keeps on growing in Thursday’s trading.

As of 09:35 on Baku time, the value of September’s Brent oil futures contract on the ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.29 (0.37%) up to $78.31 per barrel. At the end of trading on July 8, the contract rose in price by $3.86 (5.20%) up to $78.02 per barrel.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), August’s WTI crude oil futures contract gained $0.22 (0.30%) by 09:35 and was traded at $73.74 per barrel. Following the previous session, its value grew by $3.08 (4.37%) up to $73.52 per barrel.

The value of Azeri Light on the global market observed growth by $6.41 (8.47%) up to $82.07 per barrel.
