September 17, Fineko/abc.az. For the first 6 months of this year, the current account surplus of Azerbaijan's balance of payments amounted to $2.3 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that Samir Nasirov, the director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), made this statement at a briefing on the presentation of the balance of payments.

He noted that in this way, positive balance of 6.3% of GDP was formed in the current account.
