September 24, Fineko/abc.az. Some banks in Azerbaijan have limited the possibility for customers to issue multiple cards of the same category.

In this regard, the relevant instructions have been sent to the banks.

This restriction is already in effect in a number of banks, and some will begin to apply it from October 1.

For example, if a customer has a valid debit card in a certain currency, they will not be able to issue a second one in the same currency. At that, you will be able to receive a second debit card in a different currency.

Earlier in the country, a limit was introduced on "card-to-card" transactions. According to the rules effective from August 1, a limit is set for each payment instrument owned by the user: no more than 5 incoming transactions per day and up to 20,000 manats per month. Outgoing transactions are not limited.
