September 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has announced another decision on the discount rate.

By the decision of the CBA Board, the discount rate was again set at 6.5% and the upper limit at 7.5%.

The lower limit of the percentage range has been reduced by 0.5 percentage points and set at 5%. When deciding on the parameters of the interest rate corridor, the dynamics of actual and projected inflation, the processes taking place in the foreign exchange market, changes in the liquidity position of the banking sector, as well as the latest trends observed in global monetary conditions were taken into account.
