September 4, Fineko/abc.az. According to business confidence indicators for July 2025, stagnation in retail trade and the construction sector persisted, although relatively positive dynamics were observed in industry and services.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the Central Bank, that the sector confidence index in July stood at 10.5 points, showing a slight decline compared to the previous month (11.4 points). Nevertheless, the industrial sector showed a growth trend, remaining mostly in the positive zone throughout the year.

Production output and production expectations, as their main drivers, remained positive. Exports and orders continue to be negative, indicating that stable development in the sector has not yet fully recovered. The construction sector, however, experienced a more unstable situation.

The construction confidence index in July was recorded at minus 0.01 points. While this figure is below the relatively positive 1.8 points in June, it indicates a trend toward stabilization in the sector, unlike the deeply negative readings seen in previous months.
