Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports increased by 11.4%

August 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has published the August edition of the Export Review. According to ABC.AZ, the review states that Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports in January–July 2025 increased by 11.4% compared to the same period of 2024, reaching $2.09 billion.

During this period, food exports rose by 23.9% to $689 million. In January–July 2025, sugar exports increased by $10.9 million, or 55.1%, compared to the same period last year; fruit and vegetable exports grew by $122.6 million, or 31.9%; chemical industry products by $45.2 million, or 30.4%; ferrous metals and related products by $8.6 million, or 19.1%; cotton yarn by $2.6 million, or 18.2%; and tea by $317,000, or 8.8%.

In the first seven months of this year, agricultural product exports increased by 27.9%, reaching $551.4 million, while agro-industrial product exports rose by 7.3% to $178.8 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products grew by 22.1%, totaling $730.2 million.
