Azerbaijan exported food products for $84.2 million in January

February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communication (CAERC) has presented the February issue of the Export Review.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the review, Azerbaijan's non-oil exports grew by 10.7% in January 2025 versus the 2024 same month up to $245.8 million.

This January, food exports increased by 19.7% up to $84.2 million.

Among the exported products, ferrous metals and products grew 2.8-fold, sugar and sugar confectionery by 34.9%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 39.2%, organic chemical compounds by 52.4%.

In January 2025, exports of agricultural products increased by 10.4% up to $64.8 million, while exports of agro-industrial products by 44.3% up to $22.2 million.

In general, the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products grew by 17.5% up to $87.1 million.
