February 24, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2025, the cost of goods sold and services rendered to meet the needs of consumers in Azerbaijan reached 6.1 billion manats (5% more versus January 2024), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee.
Of this amount, 78.8% accounted for retail trade, 18.1% for paid services rendered to the public, 3.1% for turnover of public catering.
The volume of goods sold and services rendered by business entities of the non-governmental sector increased by 4.8% compared to January 2024 to 5.9 billion manats, of which 46.6% accounted for individual entrepreneurs.
In January 2025, the average amount of expenses per consumer totaled 600.7 manats (52 manats more than a year ago).
