Azerbaijan earned $127.17 million from fertilizer exports last year

January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Dec 2024, Azerbaijan exported 571,523 tons of fertilizers for $127.17 million, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

The fertilizer exports grew in value by $43.214 million, or 51.6%, against Jan-Dec 2023, and in quantitative terms by 204,013 tons, in other words, by 55.5%. 
In 2023, our country exported 367,509 tons of fertilizers for $83.8 million.
Over Jan-Dec 2024, the average export value of 1 kg of exported fertilizer was 0.38 manats (0.39 manats for Jan-Dec 2023). This means a drop of 0.2 manats or 2.5% year-on-year.
