Smartphones bought by Azerbaijan abroad have grown in price

January 6, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2024, Azerbaijan imported 1.166 million smartphones for $326.2 million.

ABC.AZ inform s that according to the State Statistics Committee, this figure compared with Jan-Oct 2023 in quantitative (numerical) terms reached 162,938 phones, or 16.2%, and in value - $59.314 million, or 22.2% more.

So, for the first 10 months of 2023, our country imported 1.3 million smartphones for $266.929 million.

Over Jan-Oct 2024, the average import price of one smartphone imported into the country was 476 manats (for Jan-Oct 2023 - 452 manats). This means that the average import price has grown by 24 manats, or by 5.1% for the reported term.
