September 24, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in New York, stated about the need to "revitalize" relations between Ankara and the EU.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Turkish leader's press service, "during the meeting, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Germany, systematic Israeli attacks on the Palestinian territories, especially in the Gaza Strip, intensification of Türkiye's accession to the EU, regional and global issues were discussed."

In addition, Erdogan said that support is expected from Germany to resolve the visa issue as soon as possible.
