December 26, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed the Law on the Living Wage for 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the document, the size of the subsistence minimum for the main socio-demographic groups of the population has been determined.

Thus, the living wage for 2024 in the country is set at 270 manats, for the able-bodied population - 287 manats, for pensioners - 222 manats, for children - 235 manats.

The law comes into force on January 1, 2024.
