July 21, Fineko/abc.az. The population of Azerbaijan has increased by 9,287 people, or 0.1%, since the beginning of 2026, and as of June 1, 2026, it reached 10,271,638 people.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 54.3% of country's population is urban, while 45.7% is rural. Men make up 49.8% of Azerbaijan's population, while women - 50.2%.
